While Mother’s Day is not a public holiday, it probably should be. Mothers are the heartbeat of the home and of society. Mothers have an impact that goes beyond their families. Family is the fundamental building block of our society. Mothers teach new generations morals, values, and responsibility. These are the things that society needs from its citizens to flourish. Many mothers are driven by compassion, by faith, by a fierce sense of justice and a heart full of love.
