'Helen Keller' Pays a Visit To Heath Brook School

Historical actress tells Keller's amazing life story.

"Hellen Keller" paid a visit to the last week.

Actually, it was an historical actress taking on the role of the woman who broke sterotypes and shattered perceived limitations for the physically challenged.

Keller, blind and deaf, was to communicate by Annie Sullivan, who lived four years of her young life in Tewksbury.

Through the performace, Heath Brook students learned about the lives of Keller and Sullivan and their sometimes complicated teacher-student relationship. That relationship served as the basis of the play and movie, "The Miracle Worker."

This project is supported, in part, by a grant form the Tewksbury Cultural Council, a local agency supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
