HomeGoods, Come Back! Tewksbury Sounds Off
We asked, you answered. You guys sure miss that store (and want plenty of other businesses, too.)

You sure know what you want, Tewksbury. We asked you on Facebook Wednesday afternoon what businesses you'd like to see come into town. As of about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday night, more than 50 of you responded.
The most "liked" response was asking for a Panera and/or a bagel shop, and for HomeGoods to return. Several other readers also mentioned HomeGoods. The Oakdale Mall location left Tewksbury in early 2013. "I was SOOOOO Sad to see that store leave.....," replied one reader.
A couple very popular responses had some unconventional answers. One reader thinks new business isn't the priority right now: "No More Condos and Luxury Apartments Please! Surrounding towns are building up their shopping malls and all we have are buildings, trashy empty storefronts, pizza, nail salons and dollar stores. We need some upscale retail stores and business storefronts to keep their property clean and in repair!!!!"

A couple readers said sidewalks were the No. 1 need in town. "You can't walk anywhere around here."
