Hurricane Jose Forces Cancellation Of Tuesday's Tewksbury Farmer's Market

The market will be back next Tuesday at 1009 Main Street from 4 to 7 p.m.

Tewksbury officials canceled this week's farmer's market, thanks to a forecast dripping with rain. With the remnants of Hurricane Jose expected to dump between 5 and 8 inches of rain, the market will not be open this week. The farmer's market will return next Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm, which is also Tewksbury Food Pantry Day.

While Jose is expected to have the biggest impact on the Cape and Southeastern Massachusetts, inland areas could see gusts of up to 45 mph Tuesday.
