Just Two Weeks Remain for Redmen Winter Teams
Tewksbury High teams are entering the stretch run as the regular season winds down and playoffs approach.

For Tewksbury winter sports teams, the finish line is in sight.
Just two weeks remain in the regular season before teams across the state begin their postseason runs. Several Redmen teams are action this week as they wind down their own regular season slate.
On Monday, the only team in action is the girls gymnastics team, which was scheduled to take on Dracut Saturday. That meet will instead take place to start the week because of the snow that hammered the area.

Tuesday is a busier day for Tewksbury teams. The basketball teams are both in action with 7 p.m. tilts. The boys team hosts Billerica while the girls team travels to take on Lawrence.
Action continues for the Redmen on Wednesday as well. Tewksbury's girls hockey team skates in a home tilt in Metheun, taking on Lincoln-Sudbury at 7 p.m. The boys hockey team, meanwhile, hits the ice of Breakaway Ice Center for its final game before wrapping up the regular season in Wilmington next week. The Redmen are hoping to finish strong to seal the regular season league title.

Hitting the hardwood on Wednesday is the girls basketball team. The Lady Redmen were originally scheduled to play on Friday, but the tilt was changed. Tip off comes at 7 p.m. against Dracut.
Tewksbury athletes will have Thursday off with no games scheduled for Valentine's Day.
Friday the boys basketball team is the only Redmen squad in action. Tewksbury travels to Dracut for a 7 p.m. game, wrapping up its week.
The Lady Redmen hockey team concludes its regular season slate on Saturday, skating at home against Waltham.
Another casualty of last weekend's blizzard, the wrestling sectional tournament is now scheduled for Saturday as well.
