Man Accused Of Burglarizing Tewksbury Restaurant: Police
A Tewksbury man was charged with stealing cash and a bottle of vodka from a restaurant earlier this month, according to police.
TEWKSBURY, MA — A Tewksbury man was charged in a theft and burglary case, according to police.
Michael Moran, 45, was charged with breaking-and-entering at night, larceny from a building, and fugitive from justice on a court warrant.
Police responded the morning of Aug. 8 on a report of a possible breaking-and-entering at Kyoto Steakhouse at 1487 Main St.

The restaurant's owner reported that $250 was missing from the register as well as a bottle of Grey Goose vodka.
Police confirmed via surveillance footage that the burglar entered through an unlocked door at 3:27 a.m., then exited the building a short while later with what appeared to be bundles of cash and a bottle of vodka.

Police said they identified Moran as a suspect based on the security video. An investigation found there was an active warrant out for Moran's arrest in New Hampshire.
He was arrested Monday and scheduled for arraignment in Lowell District Court on Tuesday.
Moran was released on personal recognizance with the condition to report to New Hampshire by Oct. 4 and to stay away from Kyoto.
