Man Attacks Woman With Razor Blade At Tewksbury Dunks: Police

Adam Giallanella of Dracut was arrested after police responded to a report of an argument in the parking lot of a Tewksbury Dunkin' store.

TEWKSBURY, MA — Police say a Dracut man held a razor blade to a woman's throat as they argued in a 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer parked outside a Dunkin' store on Main Street in Tewksbury Friday. Adam Giallanella, 31, of Dracut, was arraigned in Lowell District Court Monday on charges of intimidating a witness, assault and battery of a family or household member and three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Tewksbury police were called to the store around 4:40 p.m. Friday, where a witness told responding officers a man had thrown a can at a woman and then held a razor blade to the woman's throat, then fled when he heard sirens. The witness told police Giallanella had threatened him when he tried to intervene.

Police found and arrested Giallanella a short distance from the store.
