Man Charged With Dealing Fentanyl In Tewksbury
Two people were arrested on drug charges in Tewksbury. One was a man accused of selling quantities of fentanyl.
TEWKSBURY, MA — Two people were charged with drug-dealing crimes in Tewksbury on Thursday, according to police.
Police arrested Dionicio Confesor Arias Cruz, 44, of Lawrence, as a result of an ongoing investigation. He was arrested after selling approximately 42.2 grams of fentanyl in the area of Ames Hill Drive, police said.
Police also arrested a female passenger in Arias Cruz's vehicle, Lucitania Siprian, 29, of Lawrence.

Police also executed a search warrant of Arias Cruz's vehicle and found over $300 in cash.
Arias Cruz was charged with trafficking in more than 36 grams of a class A drug, distribution of a class A drug, four counts of trafficking in more than 10 grams of fentanyl, four counts of trafficking in more than 18 grams of a class A drug, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and conspiracy to violate drug law.

Siprian was charged with conspiracy to violate drug law and trafficking in more than 36 grams of a class A drug.
The Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency issued an immigration detainer on both Arias Cruz and Siprian.
They were arraigned in Lowell District Court on Friday and are currently being held on $15,000 bail.
