Man Charged With Trafficking Cocaine In Tewksbury: Police
A man was arrested on drug-dealing charges Friday, according to police.
TEWKSBURY, MA — A man was arrested in Tewksbury on Friday on cocaine trafficking charges, according to police. Police arrested Joseph Yves Frejuste, 31, of Lynn, Friday at 7:30 p.m. as the result of an ongoing investigation.
An undercover officer purchased $80 worth of cocaine from Frejuste in the area of 6765 Andover St., according to police. Police then searched Frejuste's vehicle and allegedly found 22.6 grams of a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine, 75.2 grams of an unknown white powdery substance, as well as nearly a kilogram of marijuana, clear plastic baggies, a scale, and other drug paraphernalia.
Frejuste was charged with trafficking cocaine, possession with intent to distribute a class D substance, and distribution of a class B substance. He was held on $75,000 bail and will be arraigned in Lowell District Court on Monday.
