Tewksbury Man Arrested on Driving Charges

Merrimack Police arrest Robert Fales on numerous charges after allegedly seeing him using an electronic mobile device on Continental Blvd.

A Tewksbury man will be in court next month to answer to driving charges after a traffic stop and arrest last week.

Robert Fales, 42, of Tewksbury, was arrested on Nov. 6, 2015, and charged with operating after suspension, proof of financial responsibility, and use of electronic mobile devices while driving.

Police arrested Fales on Friday after a traffic stop on Continental Boulevard after he was allegedly seen violating New Hampshire’s new electronic device while driving law.

“Upon checking his license, the officer found him to be under suspension for cancellation of insurance and proof of financial responsibility required,” according to Capt. Peter Albert of the Merrimack Police Department.

Fales was arrested and later, released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail. He’s due in court on Dec. 12.
