Home of the courageous, because of the brave. This weekend, with pride and gratitude, we remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice to defend our way of life. We, personally, this weekend, honor Shihan Deb's Great Grandfather (WWI), her Grandfather (WWII); and her father who passed away Memorial Day Weekend 2008 (asking us to never forget our family heroes). Though the day caps a long weekend...and is often celebrated with beach days, barbecues and time with loved ones...it is also important to give thanks and gratitude to the hero/heroes who gave his or her life to something bigger than oneself.
