Playoff Pairings Announced, Redmen Boys Play Marblehead Monday
TMHS girls will face North Andover on Wednesday.
The Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association announced its tournament pairings for boys and girls basketball on Friday, and both the will be hitting the road for their opening round games.
The TMHS boys, who finished the season with a 7-13 record, are seeded 18th in the 18-team Division 2 North Sectional tournament. The Redmen play at No. 15 seed Marblehead on Monday night at 7:00 p.m.
Marblehead finished the season at 10-10 in the Northeastern Conference.

The Tewksbury High girls team will face North Andover in the opening round of the Division 2 North Sectional Tournament for the second straight year. The Scarlet Knights eliminated the Redmen in the first round last year. TMHS played North Andover in the St. Mary's Tournament last Sunday and lost, 39-34.
North Andover finished its season with a 13-7 record in the Cape Ann League and is seeded fifth in Division 2 North. Tewksbury, which finished the season at 9-11, is seeded 12th in the 14 team bracket. The two teams will meet on Wednesday, Feb. 29 at a site to be determined.
