Missing Tewksbury Woman Found Safe

Yessenia Roman, 27, had been reported missing on Dec. 14.

TEWKSBURY, MA -- Police said Thursday that a woman reported missing on Dec. 14 was found safe in Boston. Yessenia Roman, 27, had last been seen when she took a taxi from Tewksbury State Hospital, where she lives, to Lawrence. Police had been stymied in their efforts to locate her as there was no activity on her mobile telephone.

In a Facebook post, Tewksbury Police did not offer additional details. On Monday, Tewksbury Police issued a follow up request for the public's help in locating Roman, and said that she may be in danger.
