Mixed Media and Judge Art Show Saturday

Tewksbury Community of Artists annual festival from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Wynn Middle School

The Tewksbury Community of Artists 17th Annual Art Festival will take place this Saturday, October 23, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Wynn Middle School. Participants include, members and non-members as well as students' kindergarten through grade 12, who created pieces between September 1, 2009 and October 9, 2010.

"We have over 75 adult artists and 300 students participating from the New England area in the show this year," Said Maria Galante, Tewksbury Community of Artists web-master and media contact.

The show will be open on Friday, October 22, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. for the artists and their guests. Judging for the show will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday with awarding of the ribbons immediately following.

The show will also include a popular vote, where the public is invited to vote for their favorite piece in the following categories: kindergarten through fourth grade, grades five and six, grades seven and eight and grades nine through 12. Voting begins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and closes at 1 p.m. on Saturday with the awarding of ribbons at 1:30.

The Annual Arts Festival

Saturday, October 23, from 10 am to 3 pm at the Wynn Middle School. Open to the public.
