National Coffee Day: Highest Rated Coffee Shops Near Tewksbury
Thursday is National Coffee Day. Do you agree with Yelp's list of the Tewksbury area's best coffee shops?

TEWKSBURY, MA — National Coffee Day is Sept. 29, and folks across America are gearing up to celebrate the "holiday."
While we were having a hard time figuring out why Sept. 29 is National Coffee Day, we do know that Americans take their coffee very seriously. According to Harvard University's T.H. Chan School of Public Health citing the National Coffee Association, the average american drinks an average of 3.1 9 oz cups of coffee per day. Additionally, 54 percent of Americans over the age of 18 drink coffee every day.
Stunningly, the U.S. spends around $40 billion on coffee per year. There are positive and negative outcomes to making coffee a part of your diet, but recent Harvard observational studies found that coffee may actually lower your chance for type 2 diabetes.

Even still, people are likely to continue to drink coffee regardless of the effects.
