National Vietnam War Veterans Day Ceremony This Week In Tewksbury
The event pays tribute to veterans of the war, including personnel who were prisoners of war or who were listed as missing in action.
TEWKSBURY, MA — A VFW National Vietnam War Veterans Day Ceremony will be held Friday, March 29, at noon at the Tewksbury Town Common.
Vinnie Oliva VFW Post 8164 Commander released the following statement on the event:
"Comrades, March 29 is National Vietnam War Veterans Day. A day meant to pay tribute to veterans of the Vietnam War, including personnel who were prisoners of war or who were listed as missing in action. VFW Post 8164 invite you and the Tewksbury community to join us March 29 at 12 noon as we place a wreath at the Vietnam Monument, located at the Tewksbury Town Common, in Honor of all Vietnam Veterans who served. Welcome Home."
