Nomination Papers Available for 2015 Annual Town Election

Nomination papers for Tewksbury town offices will be available at the Town Clerk’s Office, Town Hall, 464 Main St. (temporary location), beginning Monday, Jan. 5, 2015.

Office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Offices open for election in the year 2015 are:

• 2 positions on the Board of Selectmen (3 year term)
• 2 positions on the School Committee (3 year term)
• 1 position on the Planning Board (5 year term)
• 2 positions for Library Trustee (3 year term)
• 2 positions on the Board of Health (3 year term)
• 1 position on the Housing Authority (5 year term)
• 1 position on the Shawsheen Regional Technical High School Committee

The Annual Town Election will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The last day for candidates to file their nomination papers is Monday, Feb. 23, 2015 before 5 p.m. at the Town Clerk’s Office, Town Hall, 464 Main Street. FIFTY (50) valid registered Tewksbury voters’, signatures and addresses are required.
