Nomination Papers Available Monday For 2020 Town Election
There are 9 town government positions that will see elections in April.
TEWKSBURY, MA — Nomination papers for the annual town election will be available the first Monday in January, the town of Tewksbury announced Monday. There are nine seats that will see elections, including the town moderator and seats on the select board and school committee. Nomination papers will be available Monday, Jan. 6, at the Town Clerk's Office, Town Hall, 1009 Main St.
The town election will be held Saturday, April 4, from 8 a.m to 8 p.m. Nomination papers are due Friday, Feb. 14 before 5 p.m., at the Town Clerk's Office. Nominations require 50 registered Tewksbury voters' signatures and addresses.
Seats up for election include those belonging to the chairs of both the select board and the school committee, Jay Kelly and Keith Sullivan respectively. The moderator's chair is currently vacant. The full list is as follows:
