Not 'Just' A Bench That Vandals Defaced In Tewksbury Park
The bench had been installed less than a month ago by volunteers as part of Earth Day observances.

TEWKSBURY, MA -- Vandals covered a bench that had been installed less than a month ago on Pinnacle Trail in Tewksbury with graffiti. The defaced bench was discovered Sunday by Tewksbury resident Dave Dillon, who posted photos of the bench on social media groups for Tewksbury residents. The bench had been installed by volunteers as part of Earth Day clean-up projects.
"I know... it's just a bench. But in reality it stands for something," Dillon wrote. "If our town doesn't think we appreciate these things why would they continue to develop these trails and spend money on other open space projects."
Oh, and don't bother trying to call the phone number vandals left on the bench: It's a reference to a music group that featured the rapper Tech N9ne.
