Oberg Off To An Excellent Start With The Rockies
Former Tewksbury High/UConn star is showing he has what it takes to pitch at the professional level.

Former star Scott Oberg is opening eyes during his first few weeks of professional baseball.
Drafted in the 15th round by the Colorado Rockies in the June Amateur Draft, Oberg was assigned to the Grand Rapids Rockies of the Short Season Class A Rookie Pioneer League.
Oberg, who enjoyed a record-setting three-year career at UConn, got off to a bit of a shaky start when he gave up a two-run homer in his first relief outing. But he has been "lights out" ever since.

An interview with Oberg recently appeared on Boston.com. He has some interesting things to say about his first few weeks of pro ball.
