Dillon Ahern, 8 months old, of Tewksbury, passed away unexpectedly at the Children's Hospital on Friday, March 18. He was the son of Arlene Lord and Kristopher Ahern of Tewksbury. Little Dillon was born on July 7, 2010. In addition to his parents, Dillon is survived by his grandparents, Ernest and Joyce Lord of Bradford, formerly of Reading, and Diane Ahern of Woburn; and his great-grandparents, Grace Balboni of Groveland, Dick and Betty Ober of Woburn, Helene Ahern of Swampscott, and Mike Ahern of Rochester, NH. He is also survived by his uncle, Keith Ahern of Woburn, his uncle and godfather Kasey Ahern of Woburn, his aunt Lynne Twombly of Ossipee, NH; and his godmother, Jacqueline Shaw of Concord, NH. Dillon is further survived by several cousins. A funeral from the Douglass, Edgerley &amp; Bessom Funeral Home, 25 Sanborn St. (at the corner of Woburn Street) in Reading, was held on Wednesday, March 23 at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of the Angels at St. Agnes Church in Reading at 10 a.m. Contributions in Dillon's memory may be made to the Benefit for the Family of Dillon Ahern, c/o Wakefield Savings Bank, 357 Main St., Wakefield, MA 01880.
