Opinion: Anne Marie Stronach For Tewksbury Selectman

In a letter to the editor, Tewksbury resident Karyn Sliva backs the incumbent.

The following is a letter to the editor submitted by Tewksbury resident Karyn Sliva:

Tewksbury voters are faced with important decisions each year on who they feel will best represent them on a local level where it really counts and affects their everyday lives. We need someone with good leadership skills who can be a spearhead on important issues to our community. Someone who does their homework, is well researched on what is to come before them as a board member and the ability to ask the tough questions. Communication skills are a must between interactions with other boards as well as collaboration toward common goals. A person of integrity to take responsibility and hold both themselves and others accountable. I have known Anne Marie Stronach for well over twenty years and I believe she embodies all of these important qualities to be an effective Selectboard member. Anne Marie is always willing to listen to resident concerns and help wherever possible. Now it is our turn to help her to continue her role as resident advocate and Town leader. Please join me in re-electing Anne Marie Stronach to the Board of Selectmen on Saturday, April 6, 2019. Thank you.

Sincerely,
