Opinion: Miller For Tewksbury Selectman

The following is a letter to the editor submitted by Tewksbury resident Rita O’Brien Dee.

As a lifelong resident of Tewksbury, it’s clear to me that our community is in need of some fresh thinking. I have worked with Jayne Wellman Miller on a number of projects over the years and believe that her professional and creative style of leadership is just what we need now on our board of selectmen.

I have helped Jayne shape her campaign platform and can report that she is committed to balancing the interests of all residents. Her plan for senior tax relief is sustainable for the community and will provide real help for seniors who want to stay in their homes, close to friends and family.

I have supported many candidates at all levels, and no one works harder than Jayne. She is tireless. Besides being a well-prepared Town Moderator, she helps out in many areas of the town quietly, without fanfare. Her professionalism, commitment to responsible stewardship of our resources and positive voice will be a great asset to the board of selectmen.

Jayne is a person of service and integrity who truly wants the best for Tewksbury. Please join me in voting for Jayne on April 6.
