Our Organic Program

Starting soon, The Pushcart will offer an organic group. This will help people in our community get a fresh array of organic fruits and vegetables weekly. By joining the group, it allows us to buy in bulk, getting you more organic produce for your money! We are starting with only a select number of participants. When all the spaces are filled, we will begin the program. Sign up as early as possible as spaces are already filling up! How it works: Choose the size box you want, Small or Family Size. Next choose the type of produce you would like to receive. There will be an all vegetable box, all fruit or half & half. You will be given a reusable milk carton when you pick up your produce. Return the carton when you pick up your new order the following week. The types of fruits and vegetables you receive each week will be different every week, keeping it interesting and maybe allowing you to try some new things! Example Weekly Box: (small, half & half) 1 Yellow Onion 1½ lbs of Broccoli crowns 2 lbs Cucumbers 1 head of Romaine Lettuce 1 pint of Grape Tomatoes 1 Green pepper 3 Red Delicious apples 3 Oranges 1 Cantaloupe 2 lbs of Bananas Pricing & Billing: Small boxes are $29/week. Family boxes are $49/week A credit or debit card must be on file for weekly billing. If you want to discontinue your membership in the group we need at least 1 week notice. Credit cards will be billed weekly and your produce will be available for pickup Saturday – Monday. If you call ahead, we can deliver it to your car! There is a $10 deposit fee for the first milk crate. It will be refunded to you when you return your crate at the end of your membership. Sign up to reserve your place in the group. We will call you when the program is ready to begin. At that time we will have you come into The Pushcart to sign your membership agreement and provide your billing information.
