Person Left Dead Raccoon On Tewksbury Woman's Car: Police
Police are investigating after a report of a dead raccoon being left on a woman's car early Wednesday morning.
TEWKSBURY, MA — A person left a dead animal on a car and Tewksbury police are investigating. Police received a report Wednesday at 4:09 a.m. from a resident on Marshall Street who discovered she had a dead animal on her car.
Police arrived, spoke with the resident, and saw the dead raccoon, which appeared to have been run over by a car, on the windshield of the woman's car.
Police reviewed surveillance camera footage and determined that a person walked onto the Marshall Street property around 12:30 a.m. with a black plastic bag, dumped the animal’s body onto the windshield, and ran away.

The suspect was wearing light blue jeans and a black watch cap with two strings that hang down on the sides, according to police.
Police removed the raccoon from the homeowner’s car and disposed of it.
