Police Seek To ID Suspect In Tewksbury Break-In

Police are searching for a man suspected of breaking into a shop through going on the roof and getting into the air vents.

TEWKSBURY, MA — Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect following a break-in at a local business.

Police responded to a call at 5:25 a.m. Monday at Kay's Hallmark Store at 1900 Main St. on a report that the back door was wide open.

Police arrived at the building and found ceiling tiles missing near the entrance. The cash registers appeared to be tampered with and an undisclosed amount of money was missing.

An investigation found that the suspect entered the building through the roof and went through the air vents before entering the store.

Police received a report of a suspicious man wearing a red ski mask walking on Shawsheen Road who is believed to be the suspect in the break-in. To view video footage, click here.
