Police Seize 1,500 Grams of Heroin in Trafficking Arrests
Three arrested following surveillance at Home Depot on Wednesday.

The Tewksbury Police Department, along with the Massachusetts State Police and the Drug Enforcement Administration arrested three individuals for heroin drug trafficking on Wednesday, August 26.
Police arrested Wellington Tejeda, 34, of 1 Boston St., Lynn, Harry Marte, 39, of 10 Kempton St., Apt 1, Lawrence, and Bernardino Polanco, 44, of 80 Park St.,1st floor for trafficking heroin over 200 grams and conspiracy. Tejeda was also charged with resisting arrest.
Investigators were conducting surveillance at the Home Depot in Tewksbury when they observed all three individuals acting suspiciously in the parking lot. Police stopped Tejeda’s vehicle on Main Street in Tewksbury. Police say Tejada became combative with officers and was subdued after a brief struggle. Located inside of Tejada’s vehicle was 1,500 grams of heroin (1.5 kilograms). The estimated street value of the heroin is $300,000.

All three suspects were processed at the Tewksbury Police Department, where it was learned that Tejeda had an active immigration detainer for deportation from the Department of Homeland Security.
All suspects are due to be arraigned at Lowell District Court on August 27.
