Power of Flowers Project May 5 Plant Sale
Griffin Greenhouse & Nursery Supplies, Inc., Sponsors Sale at Tewksbury Senior Center
Tewksbury, MA: Today, the Power of Flowers Project, a non-profit organization that rescues and repurposes flowers to share with those in the community who need a moment of joy, announced Griffin Greenhouse & Nursery Supplies, Inc., as the sponsor of its 3rd Annual Spring Plant Sale.
“We are thrilled to have such a community-minded sponsor for our Plant Sale,” said Leslie Kirle, Executive Director, Power of Flowers Project. “The people at Griffin truly understand the healthful impact our bouquets have on the elderly and people in care facilities.”

This year’s Plant Sale is on Saturday, May 5, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Tewksbury Senior Center, 175 Chandler Street, Tewksbury, rain or shine. The Plant Sale includes a large variety of proven perennials dug from local gardens and annuals and herbs provided by Griggs Farm. All at bargain prices. In addition, home and garden-themed raffle items and decorative garden items will be on sale. Many items are suitable for Mother’s Day gifts. New this year is garden tool sharpening, provided onsite by the National Sharpening Company of Andover, for a fee.
