Raytheon Awarded $183 Million Federal Contract; Work To Be Performed In Tewksbury
The federal government announced that work on the Patriot Program was awarded to the Massachusetts-based company.
TEWKSBURY, MA — The federal government has awarded a $183 million contract to Raytheon Co., with work to be performed in Tewksbury.
The contract is "for new kit hardware and services, including procurement, installation, inspection, logistics support, program management, and support for the Patriot Program" in the United Arab Emirates, according to a U.S. Department of War statement.
The work is expected to be completed by March 2031.

The Patriot is described as "a cornerstone of high‑end air and missile defense, capable of tracking and intercepting aircraft, cruise missiles, and tactical ballistic missiles," according to The Defense Post.
