The girls posted just four wins this season (4-11) but qualified for the Division 2 North Tournament via the Sullivan Rule. That rule states that for a Division 2 Team like Tewksbury, only games played against Division 2 or 3 teams are counted toward the 50 percent victory threshold needed to make the tournament. In other words, all losses against Division 1 teams are tossed out.
Both Redmen teams will face difficult first-round matchups.

Game time is 3 p.m. If Tewksbury can manage to pull off the first-round upset, they would take on the winner of No. 13 Shawsheen Tech and No. 20 North Andover in the second round.
The girls are seeded No. 15 in the 16-team D-2 North Regional. They will open on the Road on Thursday at No. 2 Ipswich (13-3).
