Redmen Roundup: Marsh, Softball Team Blank Lowell Catholic
Peters sets single-game scoring record and girls lacrosse rallies to top Haverhill.

Softball
_softball team improved to 12-4 on the season with an efficient 3-0 win over Lowell Catholic on Thursday.
Tiffanie Marsh continued to improve in the circle, as Shannon McLaughlin continues to recover from a broken hand. Marsh tossed a nifty one-hitter, striking out two and walking two.

The Redmen found themselves locked in scoreless tie before scoring a run in the fifth and two more in the sixth to put the game away.
Katie Doherty paced the Tewksbury offense with a double, triple and two RBI. Brooke Hardy also had a pair of hits and Missy Cordwell doubled.. Meghan McLaughlin drove in the other run.

Baseball
The Tewksbury High baseball team ran into a buzzsaw Thursday and fell to Haverhill, 9-0. The Hillies broke open a tight game with five runs in the fourth inning.
Dom Rosado had the only hit of the game for Tewksbury, a bunt single in the sixth inning. Zach DiRocco took the loss on the hill.
TMHS dropped to 5-10 on the season.
Girls lacrosse
In a game likely to be remembered for many years for many reasons, the Tewksbury High girls lacrosse team rallied for a 21-20 road victory over Haverhill on Thursday.
_somehow keeps finding ways to out-do herself. Against the Hillies she netted a school-record 11 goals. She also dished out two assists for another school-record 13 points.
Tewksbury trailed by 10 goals at halftime before putting together a furious rally.
Kelli Sughrue and Taylor Lirakis had three goals each for the Redmen and Ashley Kelly added a pair. But in the end, it was a goal by Marissa Liggiero that proved to be the game-winner.
Boys lacrosse
Tewksbury was unable to keep its recent momentum going, dropping a 12-7 decision to Haverhill on Thursday. With the loss, the Redmen drop to 9-8 on the season.
Johnny Aylward paced the Tewksbury offense with a pair of goals and two assists. Joe DiRusso had a goal and an assist, while Zach Jacobs chipped in with a pair of goals.
