Baseball team can't dig itself out of early hole against Lawrence.

Tewksbury 7, Chelmsford 3
Tiffanie Marsh went the distance in the circle and battery mate Lauren Teixeira had three hits and two RBI to lead to a huge 7-3 win over Chelmsford on Monday.

With the win, the Redmen sweep their season series with the Lions.
Marsh, continuing to fill in admirably for the injured Shannon McLaughlin, scattered six hits and two walks, while allowing just two earnd runs.

Sheri Liggiero (double, triple, RBI, two runs), Katie Doherty (RBI) and Missy Cordwell (double) had two hits each for Tewksbury, which improved to 9-3 on the season. Chelmsford dropped to 10-4.

Lawrence 12, Tewksbury 7
Sometimes showing heart isn't quite enough if the hole you've dug is too deep.
Such was the case for on Monday. Redmern starter Zac DiRocco got touched up for seven runs in the first inning as Lawrence struck early and often. By the end of four, Tewksbury was down, 10-2.
But Tewksbury (5-8) didn't fold its tents. Allyn Hood (3 RBI) and Alex Hamilton (2 RBI) had two hits each to lead the Tewksbury comeback, which included a five-run fifth to cut the deficit to 10-7. But two more runs by Lawrence in the sixth put the game away.
Girls Lacrosse
Georgetown 13, Tewksbury 10
played a great game but lost a back and forth match up with Georgetown, 13-10.
Melissa Peters continued her torrid pace for both goals and assists. She added 3 goals and 1 assist to her season totals so far. Kelli Sughrue and Abby Donoghue chipped in 2 goals each as well.
Haley Golini and Taylor Lirakis played contributed with great ground ball control and a goal each.
Defensively Haley Sutherland, Kim Tecce and Nicole McKenna played each played a solid game. Goalie Riley Ryan played very well stopping 12 tough shots from a high-powered offense.
