Redmen Seeded 6th in D-2 North hockey Tournament
Tewksbury will take on Peabody High in the 2nd round.
The news couldn't have been much better for the Tewksbury High hockey team with the release of the Division 2 North sectional Tournament bracket.
The Redmen grabbed the No. 6 seed in the 20-team tournament and the draw looks to be playing in their favor.
Tewksbury (14-5-1) will begin their quest for a championship on Tuesday at 7 p.m. against No. 11 Peabody (11-5-4). While the Redmen are technically the home team, the game will be played at the Stoneham Arena due to MIAA facility requirements.

The two teams did not meet during he regular season.
If the Redmen avoid the upset against Peabody, they would move into a quarterfinal matchup against either No. 3 Boston Latin, No. 14 Somerville or No. 19 Triton. Tewksbury didn't play Somerville or Triton during the regular season but own a win and a tie in two games again Latin.

Wilmington, a team that hammered Tewksbury, 6-0, in the regular season finale, grabbed the top seed. If the Redmen hope to exact revenge on the Wildcats, both teams would need to advance to the title game.
