Report: Seven Coronavirus Cases At MA Raytheon Offices

The Eagle-Tribune reported Tuesday that people at the company's Woburn, Andover and Tewksbury offices tested positive for the virus.

TEWKSBURY, MA — Raytheon has seven confirmed cases of the new coronavirus at its facilities in Andover, Tewksbury and Woburn, according to a report. The Eagle-Tribune reported Tuesday that five employees at the Woburn facility have tested positive, in addition to one at the Andover facility and a business partner at the Tewksbury facility. Affected areas of the facilities have been closed for cleaning, the Eagle-Tribune reported.

Raytheon, as a defense industrial company, is classified as an "essential business" that may remain open during the stay-at-home advisory.
