Residents Raising Funds in Support of Beloved Tewksbury Bus Driver

Tewksbury bus driver Shadow Clark is in a battle with mesothelioma, and residents are banning together to support him.

TEWKSBURY, MA — A beloved Tewksbury bus driver is in a battle with cancer, and residents across town are banning together in order to support him during this difficult time.

According to a gofundme page started by Jen Bielecki, Shadow Clark has been battling mesothelioma for "quite some time." The page has been started in order to relieve financial burden from Clark and his family during his recovery.

Bielecki also told Patch that a fundraiser is also in the works for March as well.

"He is the type of man that always has a smile for you and would give you the shirt off his back," reads the page.

Started on Jan. 8, the page has raised $915 by 25 people. Numerous donors contributed $25 or more.

"Shadow had always been my children's favorite person, we all miss seeing him every day," commented donor Dina D'Andrea on the page.

According to the page's latest update posted by Bielecki, Clark has recently returned home from the hospital and is "feeling pretty good the last few days.
