Road Closures Begin For Water Main Project In Tewksbury

TEWKSBURY, MA — South Street in Tewksbury is closed to through traffic between Lakeview Avenue and Brown Street during construction hours.

The closures began Monday, according to the Department of Public Works. Construction hours will be Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The closures are part of the third phase of the South Tewksbury water main project.

Detours will be in place. Area residents will be able to bypass the road closure to get to and from their homes.
