Saugus Man Drunkenly Drove Into Tewksbury Home: Police

TEWKSBURY, MA — A Saugus man was arrested after having to be extricated from his car after drunkenly driving into a home Thursday, police said.

Police said Joseph Cetrullo, 24, drove into a Pleasant Street home. Officers and firefighters had to take him from his heavily damaged vehicle before arresting him and bringing him to the hospital for minor injuries.

Police did not say whether anyone was home during the crash. The Tewksbury Building Inspector assessed the damage.

Cetrullo was charged with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, speeding and failure to stay within marked lanes.
