TEWKSBURY, MA – The Tewksbury Community Market, located on the front lawn of the Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street), is open this Tuesday, August 13, 2019, from 4pm to 7pm.
This week’s featured vendors include Dargoonian Farm (vegetables & flowers), Fudge ‘n Stuff (fudge, popcorn & granola), Jewelry By Audrey (jewelry), Jones Farm (fruits & veggies), The Juicebox Diva (accessories), KC Styles Accessories (jewelry & accessories), Peacock Chalk (signs & home décor), Scents Delivered (soaps), Seafood Express (seafood), Sweet Lydia’s (candy & smores), Tewksbury Florist & Greenery (flowers & plants), and Tewksbury Honey (honey), plus the Tewksbury Public Library’s Community Garden (vegetables).
The Kona Ice Truck will be on hand selling delicious Hawaiian shaved ice.

Tewksbury’s own Jason Pratt will be performing from 5pm to 7pm on the library's patio, right next to the market. Bring your own chair or blanket. (A limited supply of chairs will be available.) Jason’s vocals and guitar skills are sure to impress you. Jason is a graduate of Berklee College of Music; a licensed music teacher; a private instructor for guitar, bass and songwriting; and music director for a local a cappella group.
Enjoy a fact-based discussion on vaccines at 7pm in the library’s Meeting Room. Led by researcher James Sampson, creator of Breaking Science, a science education organization that strives to engage non-scientists and facilitate their development of scientific critical thinking skills. Sampson earned his PhD in immunology from Tufts University Sackler School of Graduate Biomedical Sciences. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Miss Heather, of the library’s Children’s Room, will hold a craft from 6:30pm to 7:30pm in the library’s Craft Room.
