SEX OFFENDER MAP: Where Do Tewksbury's Sex Offenders Live ?

Editor's Note: One or more names in this report have been redacted in light of additional documentation provided regarding this case.

Tewksbury has 20 Level 3 sex offenders who either live or work in the city, according to the state’s Sex Offender Registry Board.

The Level 3 sex offender designation is reserved for the most severe offenders. Level 3 sex offenders pose a ‘high risk’ to reoffend, according to the state. They are not wanted by police, and it is illegal to use the following information to commit a crime or engage in any discrimination or harassment against an offender.

• Gaetano Bonavitacola, 68, lives at 365 East St. (Tewksbury Hospital). Convicted of rape and abuse of a child and indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 years of age (14 offenses) in January, 1984.

• Barry Carver, 71, lives at 365 East St. (Tewksbury Hospital). Convicted of assault with intent to commit rape in March 1970, rape and abuse of a child (2 offenses) and indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 years of age (4 offenses) in September, 1996.

• Brett Cobb, 48, lives at 247 Salem Road. Convicted of rape of child with force (6 offenses) in September, 1992.

• Paul Colman, 70, lives at 365 East St. (Tewksbury Hospital). Convicted of rape and abuse of a child (3 offenses) in March, 1978.

• Thomas Deblois, 52, lives at 1224 Shawsheen St. Convicted of enticing a child under the age of 16 in January 2011.

• Brian Desmond, 40, works at 35 Dufresne Drive. Convicted of indecent assault and battery on a person aged 14 or older and rape in August, 2001.

• Loranzy Head, 30, lives at 33B Hill St. Convicted of rape and abuse of child, August, 2007.

• Roger Lowther, 75, lives at 365 East St. (Tewksbury Hospital). Convicted of unnatural and lascivious acts with child under 16 (3 offenses) and Indecent assault and battery on child under 14 years of age (7 offenses) in September, 2005.

• Eric Marquez, 37, lives at 365 East St. (Tewksbury Hospital). Convicted of indecent assault and battery on a person aged 14 or older in August, 1999, indecent assault and battery on a person aged 14 or older in October, 1999, indecent assault and battery on a person aged 14 or older in February, 2000 and indecent assault and battery on a person aged 14 or older in October, 2001

• James McHoul, 71, lives at 365 East St. (Tewksbury Hospital). Convicted of assault with intent to commit rape in June, 1966 and assault with intent to commit rape (2 offenses) in November, 1964.

• Richard Moseley, 66, lives at 365 East St. (Tewksbury Hospital). Convicted of assault with intent to commit rape in November, 1974.

• Dennis Newcomb, 65, lives at 365 East St. (Tewksbury Hospital). Convicted of indecent assault and battery on child under 14 years of age in December, 1996 and indecent assault and battery on a person aged 14 or older in October, 2002.

• Joseph Olson, 58, lives at 365 East St. Convicted of indecent assault and battery on a person aged 14 or older in August, 2004 and open and gross lewdness and lascivious behavior in October, 2006.

• David Polverini, 62, lives at 365 East St. (Tewksbury Hospital). Convicted of rape of a child with force and indecent assault and battery on child under 14 years of age (2 offenses) in August, 1998.

• James Pultz, 72, lives at 365 East St. (Tewksbury Hospital). Convicted of rape and abuse of a child in June, 1990, indecent assault and battery on child under 14 years of age in January, 1991 and indecent assault and battery on child under 14 years of age (2 offenses) in June, 1990.

• John Ryder, 37, lives at 1153 Whipple Road. Convicted of indecent assault and battery on child under 14 years of age (3 offenses) in October, 1996.

• Philip Theberge, 39, works at 161 Lorum St. Convicted of rape and abuse of child (3 offenses) and indecent assault and battery on child under 14 years of age (3 offenses) in November, 1994, and indecent assault and battery on a person aged 14 or older in July, 2008.

• Alexander Zerchykov, 56, lives at 365 East St. (Tewksbury Hospital). Convicted of indecent assault and battery on a person aged 14 or older in January, 2011.

• Gary Nunes, address not currently known. Convicted of aggravated rape in April, 1999.
