Back in October, Tewksbury Patch asked readers what changes they’d like to see in the public schools. In our poll and on social media, the request for a full-day kindergarten program was strong and now it looks like the town will be gauging interest in just that.
The School Committee was presented with the proposal at a meeting Wednesday night and plans to ask residents for their feedback, according to the Lowell Sun.

An online survey will be seeking resident feedback about an optional full-day kindergarten program from Dec. 22 through Jan. 9, with letters being sent to every household asking for participation. Paper copies of the survey will also be distributed, the paper is reporting.
What do you think? Is it time for Tewksbury to start offering a full-day kindergarten program for town children? Tell us in the comments section below.
