UPDATED: Snow, Sleet and Freezing Rain Monday Night to Tuesday Afternoon
The season's first Winter Weather Advisory has been issued, snow is in the forecast and Tuesday's commute is going to be treacherous.

TEWKSBURY, MA - The National Weather Service has issued the first Winter Weather Advisory of the season Sunday afternoon which will mean dangerous travel conditions for the Tuesday morning commute with snow changing to sleet, and then freezing rain in the morning hours.
Tewksbury is under an updated Winter Weather Advisory from 10 p.m. Monday night until 1 p.m. Tuesday afternoon and we will see some accumulating snow with this weather system.
The advisory is for snow, sleet and freezing rain for northern and central Massachusetts.

Tewksbury is expected to receive four to seven inches of snow, along with a tenth of an inch of ice, making for treacherous conditions.
Snow is expected to begin around midnight Monday before it mixes and changes over to sleet for the early morning period before changing to freezing rain by mid-morning.

It will be all rain by Tuesday afternoon.
The Tuesday morning commute will be treacherous. The NWS says roads will be slick and slippery with only a trace of snow and or ice. Visibilities will be reduced, especially with the snow.
Winds will be coming from the east at 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph and temperatures will be around 30 degrees.
