Special Town Meeting To Vote On Budget Items, Conservation Land

The Oct. 6 special town meeting warrant has just six articles.

TEWKSBURY, MA — Tewksbury special town meeting voters will decide on just six articles, according to the warrant released Friday.

The meeting is set to take place 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 6 at Tewksbury Memorial High School.

Voters will decide on five budget-related articles and one conservation article. The first three articles are budget balancing, inter-departmental transfers and approving late payment of bills.

The fourth article would transfer $850,000 from free cash for sidewalk design and work and the fifth would transfer an unspecified amount from free cash to the stabilization fund.

The final article would transfer four town parcels to the Conservation Commission: Long Pond, Chandler Well Fields, a parcel off Patricia Drive, and a parcel behind 170 Judith E. Drive.
