State Confirms Case Of Measles In Lowell
The patient visited Lowell Community Health Center on November 8.

LOWELL, MA -- The Massachusetts Department of Public Health is trying to identify anyone who may have been exposed to a patient at Lowell Community Health Center that had the measles. Anyone with in the health center's main lobby, pediatric waiting room, pharmacy, or lab between 12:53 p.m. and 5:22 p.m. on November 8 may have been exposed.
People who have received a measles vaccination are not at risk. The health center is offering vaccinations to anyone who may have been exposed but is not vaccinated. If you choose not to get vaccinated, you should not participate in public activities between Nov. 13, day five of exposure, and November 29, or day 21 of exposure.
