The Rockets started the game slowly scoring only 12 points in the first half and trailed the Pacers by 7. In the second half the Rockets came to play slowing down the Pacers offense behind the defensive play of Thomas Willegal (2 points), William Hopkins (4 points), and Andrew Rogers (7 points). On the offensive side of the ball big man Jack Lindsey (9 points) forced the other team to shoot from the outside. As the clock was ticking down, John Cave (6 points) buried a clutch trey to put the Rockets up by three. Great game played by both teams !
Blazers defeat the TimberWolves
These two teams traded basket after basket in a wide open and evenly contested 1st quarter. The Blazers built a slim halftime lead before making a 3rd quarter run to gain an advantage they would never relinquish. The TimberWolves season came to an end in the semifinals but the team made great strides all season long and were playing their best basketball right when they needed to be - entering the playoffs. Congratulations to both the Blazers and the TWolves and good luck to the Blazers as they advance to the SR Division title game.

The Bullets had their hands full this past Saturday morning when they faced a very talented Jazz team at the Ryan School. Both teams defensive play came out strong, showing what each are capable of by only allowing one basket a piece in the first four minutes of play and a 8-5 Bullets lead at the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter the Bullets broke open on the offensive side, with a game high quarter 12 points, bringing their lead to 20-9 at the half. The second half started close but the Bullets finished the game with a 38-18 victory. For the sixth time this season, all 11 Bullets players added to the final score, lead by Ethan Trudeau and Eddie Brenz with 6 points; along with Ryan Sughrue, Corey Indelicato, Nick Muise and TJ Contalonis each with 4 points. Shea Hiltz, Ameen Kalkhoran, Kelvin Nguyen, Brendan Murray and Jeff Pierce had several assists along with adding their own points on the scoreboard.
Along with their scoring, the Bullets had a huge defensive game as well. Contalonis and Brenz played strong under the boards bringing in rebound after rebound off the offensive and defensive boards. Kalkhoran had a steller game defensively, minimizing a strong Jazz offense. Sughrue and Hiltz were a strong force working together with Indelicato, Trudeau in creating several steals against a very good ball handling Jazz team. Muise and Murray stayed foul free as they fed off of each other in creating a solid defensive effort. Pierce and Nguyen blocked several shots with their scrappy play.
The Bullets look to go on and face a very talented Bucks team for the Intermediate Division Championship, this coming Saturday, noontime at the Ryan School.
Bucks 36 Sonics 33
Coming from behind after the Sonics played great on both ends,The Bucks Cam Charmicheal had some great outlet passes to Andrew Boudreau and with his steals, lay ups, and the three pointers he brought the bucks with in striking distance.. Ricky Tibbitts was on his usual attack mode on anyone low post and blocked so many shots we lost count. Robbie Temmallo and Johnathan Fuller played hard defense on the boards and went to the foul line to sink some shots. (nice shot Jonathan) Cole Buglley played defense so hard that he fouled out in the third after causing some key turn overs. Jimmy Wink and Jimmy Boucher both stepped up in the later part of the game. Last but not least, Jared Ward showing great courage, pulled up and drained a three pointer (nothing but net) nice shot Jared! We won this very hard game by three points.
Junior Division

Paced by amazing team work and a tough defense, the Mavericks are on the way to the TBBL Junior Finals with a victory over the Wizards in the semi-finals. The defensive was led by Derek Lefler (5 rebounds), Brandon Coolidge (6 rebounds), Kyle Rogers (4 rebounds, 1 steal) Matt Salvato (2 rebounds, 2 steals) and Anthony Miano (2 steals, 1 rebound).
