Tewksbury 2019 Halloween Trick Or Treat Hours, Events

The town did not change the trick or treat hours for EEE.

TEWKSBURY, MA — Trick or Treating in Tewksbury is scheduled for 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, Oct. 31 this year. In addition, the Annual Community Safe Halloween is 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27 at Tewksbury Memorial High School, 320 Pleasant St. Community Safe Halloween, hosted by the police department, features "free goodies, safety demonstrations, music and dancing, games, arts and crafts, and more," according to the flier.

In previous years, the town has offered the following trick-or-treating safety tips:

  • Always go trick or treating with an adult
  • Only go to houses where you or your friends know the residents
  • Don’t knock on doors where there is a sign saying ‘NO callers’ or there are no outside lights on
  • Stay in areas that are lit with streetlights - take a flashlight with you just in case
  • Stay with your friends - don’t split into smaller groups unless an adult goes with you
  • Do not talk to strangers on the street
  • Don’t enter any house, stay on the doorstep
  • Always look carefully before crossing the road, even if you are part of a group
  • Be visible
