Tewksbury Beautification Committee Seeks Volunteers

TEWKSBURY, MA - From the Tewksbury Beautification Committee: The Tewksbury Beautification Committee is seeking volunteers to join its Adopt an Island program. Traffic islands in the community need to be spruced up, and with the help of volunteers, barren spaces can be “greened up” and maintained to beautify the town. Islands are maintained via a three year commitment simply by filling out an application available on the town’s website. A sign and mulch will be provided, guidelines ask for plantings to be watered and weeded, and use compact plantings which not impede the view of drivers.
