Tewksbury Boys Basketball League Scholarships and Travel Program Tryouts Dates and Deadlines

Tewksbury Boys Basketball announces application deadlines for scholarship awards, as well as the schedule for travel team tryouts:

TBBL Scholarships

Tewksbury Boys Basketball is pleased to announce that it will award scholarships, to deserving students based on their demonstration of academic achievement, leadership, community service, and participation in the TBBL program.

Scholarships awards are open to all students in the graduating class of a public or private high school or a related equivalent, who is a resident of the town of Tewksbury at the time of application and participated in the Tewksbury Boys Basketball League program.

All applications must be submitted online (www.tewksburyboysbasketball.org) by April 15.

Tewksbury Boys Basketball League Scholarship is for one year only and is not renewable. All applications are the property of Tewksbury Boys Basketball League.

Travel Program Tryouts

TBBL will hold tryouts for our travel teams starting next Thursday night at Tewksbury Memorial High School. All new travel players that did not play on a travel team during the 2014-2015 season must attend the first session on Thursday, March 26. A subset of those new players may be invited to attend tryouts the following week with returning players on Tuesday, March 31 and Thursday, April 2. All players must attend at least 1 tryout to be considered for a travel team.

The schedule for each night is as follows (All Players must register before attending tryouts):

Thursday, March 26 - For all players new to the travel program

• 4th Grade: 5:15 – 6:30 p.m.
• 5th & 6th Grade: 6:30 – 7:45 p.m.
• 7th & 8th Grade: 7:45 – 9 p.m.

Tuesday, March 31 - For returning players and invited new travel players

• 4th Grade: 5:15 – 6:30 p.m.
• 5th Grade: 6:15 – 7:15 p.m.
• 6th Grade: 7 – 8 p.m.
• 7th Grade: 7:45 – 8:45 p.m.
• 8th Grade: 8:30 – 9:30 p.m.

Thursday, April 2 - For returning players and invited new travel players

• 5th Grade: 5:15 – 6:30 p.m.
• 6th Grade: 6:15 – 7:30 p.m.
• 7th Grade: 7:15 – 8:30 p.m.
• 8th Grade: 8:15 – 9:30 p.m.
