The Governor has announced the reopening plan for the Commonwealth. The Town of Tewksbury will follow this plan and provide assistance to businesses seeking guidance. This is a self-attestation process and there is no requirement for the Town to approve the establishment’s control plan for self-certification. In order to prevent future liability issues, the Town recommends that you review the material and links provided below and properly prepare for your reopening.

COVID-19 Control Template can be found at: COVID-19 control plan template – Template that satisfies the written control plan requirement for self-certification

Employer and Employee posters can be found at: Employer and Worker posters – Posters that businesses can print and display within the business premises to describe the rules for maintaining social distancing, hygiene protocols, and cleaning and disinfecting

Compliance attestation poster can be found at: Compliance attestation poster – Poster that customer facing businesses are required to print, sign, and post in an area within the business premises that is visible to workers and visitors.

The reopening plan requires that businesses have their COVID-19 control plan template on file at the establishment. Employer and Worker posters as well as the Compliance attestation poster are to be displayed at the establishment.

All establishments are to Provide training to workers on up-to-date safety information and precautions including hygiene and other safety measures. Additionally Office Spaces are required to: Provide training to workers on up-to-date safety information and precautions including hygiene and other measures aimed at reducing disease transmission, including: Social distancing, hand-washing, proper use of face coverings, Self-screening at home--including temperature or symptom checks, Importance of not coming to work if ill, When to seek medical attention if symptoms become severe and Which underlying health conditions may make individuals more susceptible to contracting and suffering from a severe case of the virus
