Tewksbury Coronavirus: 2 Patients Have Recovered, 4 Active Cases

The Health Department encouraged residents to stay home as much as possible.

TEWKSBURY, MA — Two Tewksbury residents have recovered from the new coronavirus, the town reported Thursday. Four other residents have active cases, bringing the town's total number to six. The first Tewksbury case was reported March 19.

"Due to privacy laws, no other information about the individual’s identity or location will be released," the Health Department said in a release. "The Health Department would like to inform residents that the Town has a high amount of flu within the Community. All citizens who are in a position to do so, please stay at home as much as possible or limit your person to person connections. You will protect yourselves as well as others."

As of Wednesday afternoon, there were more than 1800 coronavirus cases across the state, with 15 deaths.
