Tewksbury Coronavirus Case Count Down To Single Digits
Four residents had active confirmed cases and another three had probable cases, as of Tuesday.
TEWKSBURY, MA — Just seven residents had confirmed or probable active cases of the coronavirus, the town reported Tuesday.
There were three confirmed community cases and one confirmed case at the STate Hospital. Three community residents had probable cases.
Since the first confirmed cases in Massachusetts in March, Tewksbury has had 675 confirmed cases. Seventy-four residents have died, while 566 recovered. The outcomes for 28 residents are unknown.

Almost half of the town's cases were in facilities like the State Hospital and Blaire House, while 351 cases were in the community.
As of the town's previous update, Aug. 21, the town had 14 active positives and three probable cases.
